Questions parents ask
- How long does the Season Pass last?
- Through Sunday, January 31, 2027, whatever day you buy. A season runs February 1 to January 31, matching the HSPT admissions cycle, so a spring or Pre-HSPT purchase gets close to a year and a December purchase gets the final weeks, at the same price. The expiry date is shown again at checkout.
- Is it a subscription?
- No. It is one payment through Stripe, and nothing renews. If you want a second season for a younger child, you buy another pass when that season comes.
- Can more than one child use it?
- Yes. The pass belongs to the parent account, and you can add more than one student profile under it. Each student signs in with the family code and their own PIN and gets their own progress.
- What math level is covered?
- Eighth-grade arithmetic, pre-algebra, and basic geometry, which is what the HSPT actually tests. There is no Algebra I or quadratics, a common complaint about other prep materials.
- Are these real HSPT questions?
- No. Every question and video is original, written for this site in the format and at the level of the real test. HSPT is a registered trademark of Scholastic Testing Service, Inc., which is not affiliated with and does not endorse this site.
- What if it is not right for my child?
- Email info@hsptcentral.com within 24 hours of buying and you get a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds go back to the original card and end access to the pass.
- What if I am not sure yet?
- Take the free 20-question practice test first; it needs no account and takes about 10:14. One of the video lessons, Number Series, also plays free on the videos page so you can see the quality before buying.
