No diocesan test date. Each high school gives its own placement test on campus. Christ the King has posted February 6, 2027 ($30, register on its apply page). Bishop McGuinness publishes its dates inside the online application, which opens November 1, 2026. Charlotte Catholic and Christ the King admit through Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools: priority applications open the first Monday in November, close the last day of February, with decisions the third Friday in March. Only Charlotte Catholic calls its exam the High School Placement Test by name. source

Charlotte-area Catholic high schools test later than most dioceses, in late January or February. Christ the King has posted February 6, 2027 with a $30 fee.
